Robert “Bob” Vierling, 74 of Toledo, OH, died Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Arbors of Sylvania. Born May 2, 1940, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Christopher and Elizabeth (Holtman) Vierling. Bob was employed by Chrysler Corporation for 10 years, retiring in 1990. Prior, he worked for Ort Tool and Die and the former Holtman Machine & Tool. He was a member of U.A.W., Local 12 in Toledo and enjoyed NASCAR.
He is survived by his loving children; Julie (Curt) Church of Sylvania, OH and Christopher Vierling of Toledo, OH. Grandchildren, Jeannie, Maverick and Charlie. Sisters; Mary Frederick of Toledo, OH, Martha Amborski of Deltona, FL,Dorothy Koziarski of Temperance, MI and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Francis and Frederick Vierling and sister, Anna Frederick.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11:00 am. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
